Alan James Borell, 76, of Orlando passed away on September 8, 2024 after long battles with cancer and Alzheimer’s Disease. Born on December 28, 1947 in Spring Valley, Illinois, he moved to Central Florida as a child with his parents, James and Mary “Jill” (Marchetti), who preceded him in death. Alan loved growing up on the lakes in Central Florida, was an avid go-kart and SCCA club racer, and loved to ride motorcycles. He was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and a retiree of Orlando Utilities Commission. He is survived by his wife of almost forty-nine years, Charlene; son, Brian (Tara); and his beloved grandchildren Allen James (AJ), Hope, and Faith.

There will be a small service for immediate family members. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the charitable organization of your choice in memory of Alan.
