My condolences and deepest sympathy to Al's family. I am so so sorry for your loss. I, too, am deeply saddened, but am grateful to have many fond memories of times spent with Al & Deb. I worked with Deb in the CO/WY District Postal Administration building, we met around 2001, and then I eventually met Al. We three enjoyed riding our Harleys together, going out on a few day trips before I sold mine. Through the years we continued to meet, for lunch, or they’d invite me to their house, or they’d come by our 2nd home in Grand Lake CO on their Rocky Mountain National Park Trail Ridge Road opening ride in the Spring. I really enjoyed their company, they were just so nice, Al always making me laugh and laugh. After Deb’s passing, Al and I have stayed in touch, Christmas & Birthday cards, funny Holiday GIFs, but unfortunately it’s been a long while since we had gotten together. In his birthday day card I mailed a few weeks ago, I mentioned that I’d be in Castle Rock mid-September and suggested that we get together. I hadn’t heard back from him, which is unlike him. Yes, Al will always hold a place in our hearts and he certainly will be Ever Loved by all who were lucky enough to have known him.
Peace, Love, Prayers, and Blessings, Kathleen and Peter Brownell
