Aimee's obituary

Aimee Elizabeth Klug was called home by her mom on October 27, 2025, at the age of 50. She was a beloved fiancé, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother, and friend whose strength, humor, and unwavering love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Aimee was the epitome of loyalty, care, and selflessness. Fiercely protective of her loved ones, she was the kind of person who always put others before herself, no matter what she was facing. She was a fighter in every sense of the word, bravely battling cancer and kidney failure for the past five years with courage, grace, and her signature sass.
To her family, she was the best big sister - strong, hilarious, and endlessly supportive. To her fiance, she was the light of his life. Her quick wit could light up a room, and her fierce spirit inspired everyone around her. Though her time with us was far too short, her legacy of love, laughter, and strength will be cherished forever.
Aimee was proceeded in death by mother Kathy Klug, mother-in-law Becky Skramstad, and her grandparents. Aimee is survived by fiancé Steve Ochu, father Bernie Klug (Martha), father-in-law Dave Skramstad, siblings Abbie Klug (Tou), Emily Regan (Jay), Adam Klug (Heidi), and Elise Klug, niece Gabbie Klug, nephew Rainer Regan, step-children Alec Ochu and Sylvia Ochu Florez (Frank), granddaughter Alejandra Florez Ochu, best friend Mary Larsen, and countless friends and other family who will carry her memory in their hearts.
