Aeron Jeffrey Olson, age 24, of Spring Lake, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2025, in Manistique, Michigan.
He was born on December 2, 2000, in Grand Haven, Michigan, the son of Jeffrey and Beth (VanOordt) Olson. Aeron grew up in Spring Lake and graduated from Spring Lake High School with the Class of 2019. Following graduation, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Senior Airman and worked as an Air Transportation Specialist. His service took him to multiple locations, including Alaska, and Germany, where he proudly supported humanitarian missions, including assisting refugees from Afghanistan.
Aeron lived life to the fullest. He loved snowboarding, video gaming, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family. He had a kind heart, a quick wit, and a deep sense of loyalty that touched everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Beth Olson of Spring Lake; his brothers, Nathan (Sarah) Olson of Manistique Mi, Axel (Breanaa) Olson of Muskegon; his sister, Miryssa Olson of Manistique; Grandparents Gordon and Judy Olson and Sandra VanOordt. His nephews, Keenan, Ryerson, Henrik, and Niece Oakley. With bonus nephews Wyatt and Isaac.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth VanOordt.
