Adrian's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Adrian Wayne Jolly, who left us on October 23, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on September 6, 1974, Adrian lived a vibrant life and left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Adrian was a dedicated learner, graduating from Eastern Kentucky University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Business - Computer Information Systems. Despite his many professional achievements, Adrian's greatest pride and joy were his family. He married the love of his life, Lori Jolly, in 1999, and together they raised a beautiful daughter, Jordan Truesdale. To his three cherished grandchildren, Paityn, Hadlee, and Eli Truesdale, Adrian was more than a grandfather; he was their hero.
Adrian was a man of distinct, often passionate, tastes. When it came to food, he loved pizza, meatloaf, and was notably fond of his unique combination of tomatoes and cottage cheese. His musical preferences were wide-ranging, demonstrating an appreciation for everything from the classic rock of Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac to the music of the bluegrass like IIIrd Tyme Out. He was an avid sports fan, a loyal supporter of the Cincinnati Reds and the Kentucky Wildcats. Some of his favorite downtime included watching TV shows like 'Cops', ‘Spongebob’ and 'House', and enjoying movies such as 'The Matrix' and 'Tombstone'.
He lived an active life and pursued a variety of interests, including fishing, hiking, kayaking, and woodworking. Adrian was committed to his friends, who sometimes hung out, lifted weights and grilled their favorite foods. His favorite color was a cool, soothing blue like the ocean he loved so dearly and his cherished vacation spot was Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Strong-willed, funny, supportive, loving, and dedicated—these are just a few words that describe Adrian. He was a man who firmly believed in chasing dreams tirelessly and never giving up, a powerful lesson he imparted to all who knew him. His infectious smile and laugh will be sorely missed, but his greatest accomplishment is the legacy of passion and dedication he leaves for his loved ones.
Adrian's memory will be carried on by his loving wife, Lori Jolly, and his daughter, Jordan Truesdale. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Paityn, Hadlee, and Eli.
