Adrian James Flynn, 75 of Gila Bend, Arizona passed away on January 23rd 2022 of natural causes.

Adrian was born on March 18th 1946 to Phyllis and H. Hammer in Erie Pa as Adrian Harry Hammer. Survived by his wife Jackie Flynn of 39 years, his children Airica, Kenneth, Dorenda and Jennifer. Grandchildren Taylor, Brigham, Hyrum and Tegan.

With family in Erie Pa and family in Phoenix Az he traveled Route 66 with his mother for many years. When he was 15 his step father James Murey Flynn adopted him giving him the name Adrian James Flynn. After graduating from Mesa High in 1964 he went on to becoming an Electronic Technician.

In 1981, he met Jackie in Payson Arizona shortly after they wed in 1982, going on to have one child, Jennifer Lee Flynn in March of 84.

Jim (Adrian) was known to be very opinionated by his friends and family in which they loved that about him. He was the type of man who would stop what he was doing and help anyone in need. He would help with repairing anything that was needed and if he didn’t know how to he was eager to find the knowledge to learn.

Jim was also passionate about ham radio, reading and history. He loved building radios and took a high interest in weather technology. In the early 90’s he drove school bus which became one of his favorite jobs. The end of the 90’s he was truck driving in construction which called for long hours.

Family meant a great deal to him, he is beloved by many and will be greatly missed.

There will be a celebration of life on March 18th 2022 at Rumsey Park 400 N McLane Road Payson Arizona. All is welcomed.
