Adeline Dunning gained her angel wings the morning of April 16th, 2022.  Sweet Adeline was 94 years old.

Adeline's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she  stayed here.  Adeline was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life.  She was the master of everything, an avid business woman and an amazing mother and homemaker, a true legend!  When Adeline wasn't managing the family’s many businesses or caring for 7 children, she could be found laughing and smiling in Atlantic City at a slot machine hitting it big (only she knew how many times Triple 7’s appeared)!  Not a day went by where Adeline didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her.  Her family was arguably her most important achievement in life. 

 Adeline is survived by her children Jeanne Dent, Sherry Cichy, Diane Dougher, Linda Krutulis, Elaine Pivirotto, Elmer Dunning Jr., many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Adeline was predeceased by her husband, Elmer J. Dunning Sr., her son Edward J. Dunning and grandsons John Dunning and Andrew Dunning. 

 Services will be held at:

 Viewing with be held on April 19th, 2022 from 7PM-9PM at Legacy Growney Funeral Home located at 1070 N Broad Street, Hillside, NJ 07205 

Mass to be hosted by Our Lady Częstochowa RC Church located at 115 S 3rd Street, Harrison, NJ 07029 at 10AM  

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to The Blue Army Shrine, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and American Heart Association were just a few of the organizations Adeline cared for.
