Adeline's obituary

Adeline “Addie” Baguio passed away October 31, 2021 from congestive heart failure at Swedish hospital in Seattle, WA.
Addie was a 60-year resident of Fairfax, CA and lived the last five years of her life on Mercer Island, WA with her great-nephew, Chris.
Addie was born June 2, 1932 in Santa Barbara County, CA. After graduating high school, she married her husband, Fred “Rusty” Baguio. They moved to Marin County, CA, where they raised their son, Wayne, and daughter, Bernadette.
Addie was someone who lived a life immersed in gratitude, positivity, love, and empathy every single day of her life. Her infectious laugh and loving presence radiated wherever she was. She had the ability to make everyone and everything feel special and seen. Despite the low times that she faced in life, she maintained an elegance and dignity rarely displayed.
In Addie’s last years, she enjoyed figure skating, was a popular social media influencer, and also made a name for herself in the underground Seattle music scene as a baritone jazz singer.
Addie was preceded in death by her parents, Mary

Casunite and Irineo Cabreana; her husband, Rusty Baguio; her son, Wayne Baguio; her sister, Josephine Brigoli; and her brothers, Randy Fitch and and Ernie “Ging” Cabreana.
Addie is survived by her daughter, Bernadette Baguio (Marin, CA); siblings, Geraldine Garcia (South San Francisco, CA), Gilbertine Campos (Santa Maria, CA), Nancy Fitch (Bandon, OR), Mary Boyce (Mesa, AZ), Loretta Jelkes (Gilbert, AZ), Ernie Cabreana (Santa Maria, CA), Clyde Cabreana (Newnan, GA), Douglas Cabreana (Manteca, CA), Gene Fitch (Bandon, OR), and William “Bill” Fitch (Bandon, OR); granddaughter, Rita Christensen (Orem, UT); great-grandson, Seth Christensen (Orem, UT); great-granddaughter, Eden Christensen (Orem, UT); and many nieces and nephews.
It was an honor for Addie’s great-nephew, Chris, to care for Addie in her last years, where she was the light of his life. There was not a day that passed that they weren’t laughing and having fun together. Addie exuded love and acceptance for all, no matter their background or status. She was an exceptional woman, and her legacy of unconditional love and laughter will forever brighten the souls of those fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.
