Addison was very special.  He was a totally genuine person.   He touched my heart the moment that I met him.  We met through our love of SCUBA and our few encounters were always of quality and appreciation and respect for each other.   There was a comfort in his presence.  There was no guile.

Thanks for all you taught me and the leadership I hoped to emulate one day. Rest easy, meet you when we regroup, We’ve got it from here Brother.

My deepest condolences to the Evans family, Randi, and their children. Try not to focus on the loss, dear family, but cherish the memories, always, and focus on being reunited in heaven, soon!

Addison, my friend, you are loved. I miss you.

With much love,

To the family of our Marine and friend:

I bid you greetings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ at who's name every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. I want to express my deepest sympathy and prayers to you during the transition of our dear brother Addison. He was a great Staff Sergeant in the S-4 at CLB-7. To his wife and daughters, I pray strength during this time for you and hope that the time that you shared will remain and last forever in your memories with your husband, father, and hero. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. He is resting in Jesus in a place beyond this plane. We celebrate because he knew the Lord prior to his departure and we know that we believe in the blessed hope that we will see him again. This scripture can sum up Addison's life- 2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." Now we bow in humble submission to the will of our heavenly father.

Be it resolved, to the family,  hold on to God and embrace one another. If there is anything you need, even if it is just an ear, let me know. Much love.

In His Service,

Sergeant Kenney Tobia
