Adam Griego Jr. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at his home in Apache Junction, Arizona. He was born on June 18, 1954 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He moved to Arizona shortly after the birth of his first granddaughter in 1998.

Adam was an avid collector of many things, loving anything from Southwestern jewelry to Desert rocks and minerals. He was a regular vendor at the Apache Junction swap meet, where it was not uncommon for him to strike up a conversation and become instant friends with most everyone he encountered there.

Adam was an intelligent, funny, kind-hearted and selfless spirit, always caring about others more than himself.

He will always be remembered by his daughters for their childhood road-trips. From the beaches of Corpus Christi to weekend getaways in Disneyland, it was always an amazing adventure. Spending time with their father listening to Neil Diamond and Bruce Springsteen are moments his daughters will always cherish.

He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Bradley and Jennifer Petrilli, Grandchildren Desirai Jordan, Nicolas Bradley and Olivia Petrilli and Great Grandchildren, Jaxson Adam Baldovinos and Jazmin Baldovinos.

A private Celebration of Life will be held by his family to cherish and share the memories with his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren to ensure they know about their Papa Adam and how much he loved them.

To honor Adam’s memory, his family will be traveling to his home town to scatter his ashes along the Bosque underneath the painted sky of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.

Donations in his name would gratefully be accepted at Genesis Project https://www.genesisprojectaz.… where he regularly volunteered in the Soup Kitchen, taking any left over food each day to deliver to others in need.
