Wayland's obituary

Adam Wayland Garrett passed away on December 19th in Kennesaw, GA.

He was born in April of 1980 in Cincinnati Ohio to Kim and Allen Garrett. He is now resting in peace with his brother David Glenn who passed away in 2008. They were the best of friends and are together again.

Wayland's passion was music, and he loved sharing it with his friends. He played in many pubs and restaurants around the Kennesaw, Marietta. Cartersville and Canton Area. He also loved to hike and hiked many of the trials in GA as well as the Appalachian trail. He would take his guitar with him and entertain people at night around the campfire. He loved the outdoors, sitting around the campfire with friends and family. He and his brother Parker spent many days hiking, camping and kayaking around GA with Scrappy.
He was a kind, loving and caring person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He took many into his home when they didn't have a place to stay, cooked for them and gave them a warm meal. He loved to eat and shared his love for food with his friends and family. He loved entertaining people whether it was playing music or cooking for people in his home. He had an amazing dry sense of humor unlike no other and would keep us laughing whenever we were around him at family gatherings. He loved animals and had many dogs over the years and chickens as well. His latest love was "Scrappy".

He was a joy to be around, and we all miss him dearly.
