Location

Adam's Funeral Service will be located at the Chapel at Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park. The Chapel is located in the centre-south area of the park. Please drive in and continue driving through the park, following the signs posted along the cemetery road. Please see the program photo for the exact location of the Chapel.

Parking
----------------
Please note that the parking at the north entrance of the Park is quite a far walk from the actual Chapel, thus we recommend driving and parking on the road alongside the Chapel.

Flowers
----------------
As Adam's ashes will be interred to a columbarium niche (wall for urns), there is unfortunately little-to-no space for flowers.

Kindly reach out to us if you would like to bring or send funeral flowers, and we will inquire with the cemetery on how to arrange any flowers received. At this moment, we have listed a personal home address to receive flowers.

We kindly ask that you do not send flowers to the Celebration of Life venue.

Tributes
----------------
Due to the limited time of the funeral service, we kindly ask any guests who wish to speak and share stories about Adam, to do so at the Celebration of Life. The Celebration of Life will take place after the Funeral Service, at Coal Harbour Community Centre in downtown Vancouver, where we will gather to pay tribute to Adam.

Parking
----------------
Paid street parking is available throughout the neighbourhood. There is also paid parking available underground at the Coal Harbour Community Centre, around Jervis and West Hastings Street.

Please ensure that you do not leave any valuables in your vehicle. We recommend not having any visible items in your vehicle, as vehicle break-ins are not uncommon downtown.

Entrance
----------------
There may be an entrance to the community centre accessible via the Coal Harbour Community Centre underground parking lot on Jervis and West Hastings, however, we are unsure. Please check the attached map for the outdoor entrance via the Sea Wall. Please also note that there is construction beside the Community Centre, limiting certain access points. Please head to the Multipurpose Room inside the Community Centre.

Event Time
----------------
Please note that the booking for the Coal Harbour Community Centre room is from 1 PM to 5 PM, however, we require time to set up before and clean up after the event. Please feel free to join us at 1 PM if you would like to assist with set-up prior to the 1:30 PM start time. We truly appreciate your patience and any assistance.

Please note that the end time of the event is 4:30 PM sharp, due to the closing time of the Coal Harbour Community Centre. We will be cleaning up starting from 4:30 PM and must leave the building before 5 PM.

Alcohol
----------------
As we will be serving a drink or two for our toast to Adam, please ensure to arrange designated drivers for after the event, if you will be unable to drive. We would also be happy to arrange any taxis or Ubers, or provide transit directions if necessary.

Live Stream
----------------
We are hoping to set up a livestream of the Celebration of Life for any friends and family who are unable to attend the event, however, this is not yet guaranteed. Please check back for a link closer to the event or inquire with Maciek or Julia.

After the Event
----------------
If you would like to continue the gathering with others after the event finishes, there are a variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops nearby, as well as the scenic sea wall and multiple parks in the area. We chose this area for the Celebration of Life due to Adam's love of boating in these waters. We hope you enjoy the environment as much as he did.
