Adaline's obituary
Adaline Barlow Weigold, 93, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025.
She was born on March 18, 1932, in Juneau, Alaska, and lived a long and full life devoted to her family. While in Juneau, she met the love of her life, Wayne Weigold, who was serving with the U.S. Coast Guard. They married and shared 59 wonderful years together until his passing. In 1958, Adaline and Wayne made Arizona their permanent home, though they returned to Juneau every year to spend time with family and friends. Summers were especially dear to them, and beginning in 1974, they treasured their time together in Forest Lakes, Arizona—a tradition that became a cornerstone of family life and memories for decades.
She is survived by her three children, Nancy (Doug) Jacobs-Heath, Wayne (Candie) Weigold, and Jim (Stephanie) Weigold; her youngest sister, Berta Barlow; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, who will always carry her love in their hearts.
Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now reunited with Wayne and that her legacy of love, strength, and togetherness will continue to live on through the generations she so deeply treasured.
A private family service will be held in her honor.
