I met Ada through my high school friendship with her son, Robin. I loved her immediately. She seemed to understand my teenage rebelliousness. Ada invited me to see The Doors with her. I didn't go which I'll always regret. She took me to the Greek Theater in Los Angeles to see Neil Diamond which turned out to be a fabulous concert. We stood in line for hours and hours to see a Van Gogh exhibit at the L.A. County Art Museum. We lost contact through the years, but fortunately found each other again through Facebook and recently exchanged long letters. I wish I could have seen her again. Rest in Peace, Dear Friend.
