With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Abraar Baqi, beloved father, husband, and Aeronautical Engineer, on September 15, 2023. Born on February 28, 1955
Abraar is survived by his loving family: his wife Rania Khan, his daughter Amina Abraar, his son Mohammed Baqi, his son in law Dr Zeshaan khan and three beautiful Grandchildren.His love for them was boundless, a testament to his belief that family is always the first priority. His mantra came alive through his actions, creating a beautiful and respectful family that will continue to honor his legacy.
Abraar's journey as an Aeronautical Engineer began at the Boston University College of Engineering, from where he graduated in 1981. His passionate pursuit of aeronautics led him to contribute significantly to aircraft design at Boeing. And was a huge factor in his son becoming a successful Commercial Pilot. His professional accomplishments were central to his identity, as much as his love for Biryani, Chai, and the Boston Celtics.
Abraar's personality was best described as warm, happy, and giving. He loved his family endlessly and always put their needs before his own. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will forever be a beacon of love, commitment, and generosity.
