BIMBO,

It is now dawn on us all that you have indeed departed this sinful world. Four years ago when the sudden and sad news came around, it was like a wild fire, almost unbelievable, indescribable and a bitter pill to swallow.

To say that you have left a big hole difficult to fill is an understatement. Your qualities and characteristics as a friend, a sister, a mother, are rare to find. I still remember those occasions when there were opportunities to engage you in serious academic discussions when you displayed knowledge and competence which are still difficult to forget in a hurry. You were dedicated and honest to everything you did while here with us.

I remember you always, your picture seems to be imprinted in my heart. The thought of your person cannot be easily removed from a discerning heart.

Please continue to rest in perfect peace in the bosom of the Lord, IJMN I pray.

Yours sincerely,

Segun ADELANWA Esq.

For All the Saints who from their labour rest, Who Thee by Faith before the world confessed Thy name, O Jesus, be forever blest:

Alleluia! Alleluia

May Eternal Light perpetually shine upon you Mummy Edwin.

Thy Name, O Jesus be forever blest:

May Eternal light perpetually shine upon you, Mummy Edwin.

My heart aches every now and then that I remember you. May God grant you rest 🙏🏾
Aunty Mi as I will always call you.  If kindness and love was a person that was you. I miss you dearly. My only comfort is that you were saved so we will not mourn like those who have no hope knowing you are only absent here and we will meet again. Continue to rest in the Bosom of the Lord.
Aunty mi, you are forever loved and missed. Continue to rest peacefully in the Lord.

“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants.” Psalm 116:15.

The song is ended but the melody lingers on. – Irving Berlin

May the Lord continue to uphold you and be with the children, grandchildren and the whole family she left behind. It is well.

Shared a heart Red heart

Still in shock at the news of Mummy Edwin’s death. I saw mummy in July 2016 or 2017( can’t really remember the year) when she came for a church program in Canada, I went to pick her after the program and she spent few days with us before leaving for US. Mummy Edwin was a loving mother, a true matriarch and will surely be missed! Rest well in the Bosom of the Lord. Toyin & Segun Onakanmi (Canada)
Rest In Peace Aunty Bimbo. Such a special and loving soul. Forever in our hearts. Our condolences to the Edwin family.

Bimbo Okor-Edwin was an elegant and amiable lady. Ever so respectful and welcoming.
She will be much missed. May God give her Loving Family and Friends the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
May God repose her soul in his bosom in eternal bliss
Our condolences to the Edwin Family on the passing of their wife, mother and grandmother. We pray Almighty God will comfort and uphold the entire family now and forever in the precious name of Jesus.

Dear Aunty Olubums,
Since the news of your Passing, I have been reminded of how Procastination only leads to Regrets.
Just 30/09/2020 i still had a chat about calling you, and few days before then, Dad kept talking of how he wished he could see you, he was kinda worried, but then he said you prayed for him and Admonished him to stop worrying.

I SHOULD HAVE CALLED

I still remember the day you told me, Damsie, a young lady should accessorize to make her face POP, no one should see you weak, "it's our power as women" is what you said to me, then you smiled and said Dami wear heels, even if its little ones...

Where do i even begin Dear Aunty...
Your last words to me were prayers ooo, you said you'd be at my wedding
You said i was next...
Oh!!! How I'm going to miss your dancing steps and dancing competition at my Wedding.

I was really looking forward to that you know...
But God knows best as i believe you will be dancing with the host of Heaven on that day.

Adieu Abimbola Afolake Edwin, omo Akinlagun
