Abel Madrid Martinez, also known in his family as "Addy", was born in a small province in the Philippines in 1940 as one of seven children. In May of 1993, he and his wife, Lolita Bautista Martinez, along with their daughter, Maricel, moved to the United States to start a new life. On February 13, 2026, he passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was a father of four, a grandfather of a dozen, and a great-grandfather of four. His bright smile and infectious laughter will be forever missed by his family.
