Obituary
Abel Kawai Ganer passed in peace on January 31, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Abel was born in North Kona and grew up in Lana’i City. He entered the US Marine Corps in 1975 and honorably discharged on March 14, 1980. In 2019 he retired from Hawaiian Airlines after 33 years of service.
Abel is survived by his wife of 15 years, Myrni Mendes. Abel is also survived by daughters Emily Freeman, Jessica Barbosa(Clayton) and …
