Abbie B. Slemp  passed peacefully in her sleep at Windsor Care in Redding CA on June 9, 2023. 

She was born to Betty Ann Rumley Dawkins and Silas Goodrich Dawkins on June 25, 1955. She met and married the love of her life Leonard Slemp who preceded her. They had four beautiful children Leonard, Ella ,Dorothy (Dottie), and Robert. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and a host of friends and family. Abbie was preceeded by both of her parents, her husband, her granddaughter Betty, and two of her brothers, Lloyd and Albert. 

Abbie is survived by her children, six of her grandchildren, and three of her siblings, Edward, Ruth, and Betty.

Abbie lived life on her own terms, it could even be said she was a force of nature itself. She loved and was loved deeply.
