Tony's obituary

Arsenio Lugo, Jr., aka Aaron “Tony” Lugo, 75 years old, of Port Saint Lucie, FL, went to Heaven on June 25th, 2022. He was born on July 21st, 1946, in the Bronx, NY, later moving to Rockland County, NY, to raise his family. He retired to Port Saint Lucie, FL, where he has been a resident for the past 15 years.

Prior to retiring, he was a VP and Executive for many large healthcare facilities in the city of New York and during retirement, volunteered at the Mustard Seed food pantry. In his spare time, he enjoyed broadway plays, traveling, watching basketball, eating sushi, and spending time with his family. Tony was an extremely loving, affectionate, generous, warm, charismatic, sacrificial, father, grandfather, and friend. As many reflect on the memories he left us, we can all rest in his famous quote, “It’s a beautiful thing!”. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his children: Beth & Louis; son and daughter in law: Rafael & Heather; grandchildren: Ariana & spouse Danny, Isabella, Felix, Anjelise, Raquel and Elijah; siblings: Lucy, Laura, Sandra, Maria, Sylvia and Peter; his Tía Alsacia Berrios, his stepmother, Teresa Lugo and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and faithful friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Luz Sixta Toro & Arsenio Lugo; siblings: Iris Lugo & Jesus Lugo, and his ex-wife/best friend, Judith Lugo.

Tony was extremely proud of his family and impacted many lives with his gift of edification & compassion. He will be tremendously missed. Tony was a member of Sunlight Community Church.
