Aaron Keith Jones, 56 of Tyler, TX, passed away suddenly on June 4, 2023 at UT Health Tyler.

Keith was born on October 7, 1966 in Waxahachie, TX and raised in Duncanville, TX to parents Ted and Marie (Elledge) Jones.

Keith was an extremely talented bass player and pursued his passion and love for music as he traveled the world on tour with Bugs Henderson. He was an exceptional member of other bands as well, and most recently with the Nearly Brothers.

Keith is remembered for his love and devotion to the Lord, and his family. He will be remembered for his kindness, genuine love of people, selflessness, thoughtfulness, his wonderful laugh and sense of humor. He was compassionate and encouraging to all that he encountered. Keith loved life and enjoyed spending time with his wife and beloved pets, Landry, Bailey and Ditka.

Survivors include his devoted, loving wife, Kay Jones; mother, Marie Jones of Tyler; brother, Steve Jones and wife Trena of Waxahachie; niece, Kyra Jones and fiancé, Martin Garcia of Longview; in-laws, Bill and Dolores Potts of Tyler; brother-in-law, Bill Potts and wife, Amber of Austin; and his wonderful extended family and amazing friends.
