Virginia Rdgz-Chvz — This facility would most definitely be fully rated (5) stars according to my late brother's personal experience w/Traditions Hospice if not for the frequent lack of communication! From the onset of his decision to go on Hospice Traditions went out of their way to ensure us/the family of their dedication.... Read more "They will treat you like royalty, " was what my brother said to our brother in need of hospice. He was under the impression of that, "round the clock care." My brother was in a nursing home where he was cared for exceptionally well t.t.G. However, the responsibilities between both facilities were often unclear (miscommunication). Traditions had all family contact info to have updated especially my sister or myself on our brother on Hospice as opposed to 1 family member which we as the sisters from out of town weren't updated as we had hoped. Going the extra mile out of respect for the family over all goes a long way especially when the patient is quadriplegic, nursing staff @ the nursing home have a busy schedule to be assisting quadriplegic patients w/calls & still, we recieved that sporadic few minutes video chat w/our loved 1 where his therapist at the nursing home went beyond his call of duty, kudos to them. An act of love /dedication nursing staff can have for their patients when they care enough to be considerate of, "The Golden Rule." We the family chose Traditions due to the good friendship rapport my brothers have had with some of the family members of Traditions since their h/s yrs. Thank you Gaitan family for the memories/friendship. In our home town of Plainview where a choice of businesses to choose from for my brother's hospice care is slim, I recall having told our friends there @ Traditions I felt like they had been a God sent to see my eldest brother through his last days. My brother was a quirky fella w/odd to silly comments, that was just his nature as a guy who was sometimes not all there. Traditions pointed this out from the onset; sometimes miscommunication can be understood when the business takes the time to care enough to ask the family a bit of history about their patients, their quirks, likes, dislikes etc. Thank you Traditions for your dedication & strive to stay competitive among other Plainview hospices 🙏 Blessings for all yall's endeavors. Btw, I'm sure there have been reviews of all sorts for tbis business not just the (5) stars 🤔 let's be fair here. The nursing home director was kind enough to show up to my brother's funeral that's a BIG plus for any family. Traditions did their duty of preparing the body for the funeral hm, much appreciated.
