  • What resources do you offer patients and families beyond basic care?

    Bereavement (grief) counseling and spiritual support are available to families for up to 13 months after their loved one passes. Our “No One Dies Alone” program ensures that everyone entrusted to our care has the support they need at their most critical time. We can assist with creation of a “CaringBridge” website, allowing families to communicate information and status updates with each other, as well as send special messages to their loved one. In addition, our Community Support Groups can help families and friends cope with the loss of a loved one.

  • What makes you stand out from other hospices?

    At Hillcrest, our special team focuses on achieving a patient’s goals or “wish list” activities whenever possible, and we would love to share some of these success stories with you.

  • What is your patient care philosophy?

    The Hillcrest Hospice team uses a holistic approach, not just caring for the physical needs of the individual, but also the emotional, social, spiritual and practical needs. A customized care plan is created for each patient and family, focusing on dignity and comfort rather than curative treatments, ensuring quality of life for your loved one. The care team at Hillcrest Hospice is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to make sure your loved one will always be comfortable.
