Debra Clark — My brother is under their care thru Newnan, GA office and so far they have been very responsive and caring. I got him out of an abusive personal care home, brought him to my house for 10 days until I could locate another home he can afford. It was over Thanksgiving so there was some delay it getting... Lori McNabb Meza — I am very disappointed in this Company for a couple of reasons. My dad came to live with me after a long illness where he was put on hospice. I was in Texas with him throughout his long hospital stay and for a couple of months afterward where he was on hospice with another company in Dallas. I convinced... Read more him to come to Georgia to live and we did a transfer. No problems. Well, he stayed a few months and he did get a little stronger and then he decided to go back to Texas where his friends are. I reluctantly agreed and began the process to transfer him back to the other hospice in Texas. Although he was stronger he was still in no way able to take care of himself and still had the underlying issues and health problems. But he had gained weight and his feeding tube was removed. OK. I was talking to his nurse Tinley and told her what we wanted to do and after going back and forth with her not knowing how to do a transfer we did eventually find out that my dad could transfer because he was in a new evaluation period and he had enough time between transfers to do another one. Great! This gave me a little piece of mind because the other hospice knew him and i knew for the most part he would be in good hands. (He still needed help with showers, is on a walker, cant use his arms fully. Leg swelling and thombrosis, and blood clot in heart.) So she came over with the transfer paperwork and I we signed it. He had a friend pick him up and they drove the 12 hours and I called and let both hospices know that he had safety made it to Texas. His nurse in Texas calls to get the records faxed to them and come to find out he had been dropped from Hospice! Just dropped! I had the paperwork showing transfer and it didn't happen! Meanwhile, my dad suffers. No baths, only 1 week of medicine, he had a kidney infection and couldn't get help on that. Had to wait for a Dr's appointment for over a week, for which my dad had to drive to. (Which he really shouldn't be driving in my opinion) I got the nurse at the other hospice to get the Dr to prescribe him antibiotics in the meantime before he could actually get in to see his Dr. My problem is WHY DID THIS HAPPEN? WHY CAN'T I GET ANSWERS? I CALLED AND WAS PROMISED A CALL BACK WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN. WHY? WHO DROPPED THE BALL? IF YOU REALLY ARE A COMPANY THAT IS COMMITTED TO THE CARE OF YOUR LOVED ONE LIKE YOU CLAIM YOU ARE THEN WHY NO RESPONSE OR HELP OR CONCERN? NOTHING. I would not recommend this company because this is just wrong and SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED! But the lack of concern or even a call back is inexcusable. Not to mention unprofessional. His nurse, Tinley, seemed to be unsure of herself and never had answers to questions that I would ask and I honestly think needed some more training. So much mess could have been avoided if they had concern for their patients and did what they said that they were going to do. VERY DISAPPOINTING just shows that it is all about the money. Read less

Mindy Couch — My Granny is under this hospice. We called for them to please come check on her to try to give family comfort. Mrs. Ginger called backed and got all her symptoms and she told us well it could be another hour or two. Really?? How insensitive can you be? Our family just needed some reassurance and she...
