Shiva Jamali — Easy hike (takes roughly 1.5 hrs up and down), easy parking & decent bathrooms.
It’s not much different than other average hikes in San Diego, though.

Cassandra — Peaceful, flat out and back walk on asphalt path. There’s tons of smaller paths that trail off for adventures but beware of danger noodles (snakes). The trail is not a loop. It’s heavily trafficked but not crowded. There are smaller places hidden away so you can find quiet spots to sit and relax.

Sandy Spackman — I go there regularly to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and get my miles in. You can go fishing, biking, bird watching, picnicking, photographing, walking, and more. The lake is well maintained, safe, and has ample parking, must come to enjoy.

J Nash — This lake is so peaceful! If you go in the early morning you’ll be joined with walkers and runners along the trail. Nice place to clear your mind. During the summer time there’s so many fun activities for the family.
