What is the funeral planning process generally like?
We inform our clients that with weddings it may take months to plan and coordinate while a funeral service is typically planned within the week. We recommend to take your time in order to properly notify friends and family of the up-coming Funeral Services allowing time for travel or work schedules to be accommodated. At the funeral home a typical arrangement conference can take an hour or so to gather the families wishes and collect vital information for the death certificate. The funeral director will schedule date and times with any church services, clergy, cemetery, etc according to the families wishes.
