I was disappointed to see your one-star review, especially since you have never used... Read more our services.
It's disheartening to see a locally-owned business criticized in favor of a corporately-owned funeral home based in Houston, Texas. Without experiencing our services, it’s difficult to understand how one could claim they have more experience, respect, and dependability.
As a proud member of the Soddy-Daisy community, I encourage you to support local businesses that reinvest in our area, rather than corporations whose profits benefit distant CEOs.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could visit us and meet our team before making judgments about our business. You are also welcome to call me directly on my personal cell phone at (423) 421-5937 to discuss any concerns you may have.
If you need to contact the CEO of Williamson and Son's, you'll likely encounter a phone tree in Houston, Texas. His name is Carlos Quezada, and you can learn more about him here: https://www.carriageservices.com/executive-team/
Carriage Services' CEO is Carlos Quezada, appointed in June 2023, has a tenure of less than a year. His total yearly compensation is $2.81M, comprised of 25% salary and 75% bonuses, including company stock and options. He directly owns 0.38% of the company's shares, worth $1.52M.
He makes more in a year than most of us will make in a lifetime. If that doesn't reveal where our local dollars are being spent, I don't know what will.

Shawn Williamson
