About Hancock Funeral Home
Philadelphia, PA 19152
Our family has been serving grieving families with care and dignity since 1917. Starting with Ray V. Hancock (Deceased), Undertaker on Cayuga Street in the Nicetown / Germantown section of Philadelphia, our funeral home moved to its current location on Roosevelt Boulevard in the early 1960’s. Since our establishment, there has never been a single minute we have not been ready and “on-call” to help. Whether you prefer services ranging from a Traditional Funeral with visitation followed by burial in a cemetery to simple Direct Cremation to any and all types of alternative arrangements, we have the experience gained from one hundred years of continuous service to help you. We are proud to be in our fourth generation of Hancock Family ownership and operation. We are independent, NOT part of a larger group, big corporation, or affiliated with any other funeral homes.
