What makes you different from other funeral homes?
The Halverson Chapel had been a funeral home for the last 76 years. In June 2023, Kyle and Lindsey Ray purchased the Funeral home. Rebranding and modernizing the funeral home into what people want in a funeral home in 2023. Lindsey had been a funeral director for going on 15 yrs. For the last 6 years she has had her own business caring for loved ones behind the scenes as a trade embalmer working for 30 plus funeral homes all across South West Michigan and Northern Indiana. Her life long dream was to purchase a funeral home and serve the community. Her and her husband are life long St. Joseph County residents, both graduates of Mendon High School.
