About Compass Pointe Funeral Services

We are a family run funeral located in Central Florida serving all of Central Florida. Our pricing is simple and straightforward and try to be as transparent as possible. A direct cremation is $795 in Orange, Osceola, Volusia, Seminole. Cremation permits by county are $35-$60 depending on the county plus $10 per death certificate.
For example a direct cremation in Orange County is $795 plus a $35 permit plus 2 death certificates is $850. This assumes a person is under 250 pounds. (pricing slightly higher for over 250 pounds).
Our traditional cremation starts at $2,895 which includes embalming, light make up, dressing your loved one, casket rental, 3 hour service at our chapel and register book. Clergy, Flowers and Memorial Cards available at an additional cost.

We started this business October 2011. A good portion of our business has many families using us many times for their loved ones. We can keep our costs down because we don't need to spend a lot on advertising due to word of mouth.

What is the funeral planning process generally like?
We try to keep it as simple as possible. The cremation process takes about 7-10 business days from the time we talk to a family and have the paperwork signed.

What makes you different from other funeral homes?
We are family owned. We started this business after working in the Corporate World for many years and saw the high costs of funerals. There had to be a better way. We offer the same services for a fraction of the costs.
