One of my cousins desecrated several family headstones by spray painting them for reasons known inly to him. He has since passed away and I'm interested in restoring the stones, which include my parents' and brother's stones. Is there a service that can be hired for this or should I undertake the task myself?

Hi. I am sorry to hear that Lane has passed. Yes he vandalized many of your family’s stone here at KC. I do not know who could help you with removing the paint from those beautiful stones that he ruined. Maybe if you call a tombstone company they may be able to help you. We have never had anyone paint any of the stones over here before so I’m not really of much help. When did Lane pass and what was his last name? I talked to him many times and tried talking him out of painting the stones with no luck. I’m happy to hear that you are interested in restoring them back to their original state. Becky
