Sitting high on the rim rock above the Spokane River, one can enjoy the breath taking view of Spokane's "Bowl and Pitcher" and Riverside State Park, while the stunning mid-century modern design of Sunset Mausoleum contrasts with the classical architecture of the many private mausoleums, offices and maintenance structures built in the early 20th century.

Originally established as Fairmount Cemetery on May 29, 1888, Fairmount Cemetery served as the Spokane community's "Official City and County Burial Ground". This cemetery park is made up of 160 acres with just over 80 developed.

Hello Jetina, My name is Pat Smart. I'm a Family Service Representative for Fairmount Memorial Association. To answer you're question, headstone's range in price depending on the size, style, and color of the headstone you choose. The most common headstones are flat/flush, and range in cost from $1300 - $7000. People commonly choose benches or upright headstones as well. Those typically range from about $5,000 to $15,000. With any marker, we all upt to 5-year, interest-free financing so long as a 10% down payment is paid up front.
