Q&A
IS there a masoleum for Urns?
– Martha W.
I don't think they do. The cemetery is now owned by Dawson County. The office number is 806-759-8259
We took our 83 yr. old Mom to go find her baby sister`s grave who was 1 month back in 1955 and was buried here. We had called on a Friday but the number on the website is not a working number. On Saturday we drove from San Antonio to Lamesa got there and saw that the office was closed. We were not able to find the grave so we came back to San Antonio, but I have not been able to get in contact with anyone from there. Please someone give me the office number so I can call them to see if they have any record of where my aunt is buried. Ty to anyone who can help me (210) 773-5037 please call me if anyone knows the phone number. PATTY E.

The caretakers name is Joe 806-759-8259
He can look it up for you.
Just an FYI, I think it was 2018 when the private owners of the cemetery were arrested for fraud. You can find more info online, it was in the Lubbock newspaper. The Lamesa Memorial Cemetery is now The Dawson County cemetery. The county took it over. Apparently records were a mess and maintenance was sorely lacking. They've worked hard to sort it out. I don't know when you were there. If it wasn't recently you might want to try again. Good luck!
Where can I send a picture of a headstone?

I would like to find my baby brother’s grave and get prices on a headstone for him. I would also like to find any information they may have about him. Who do I speak to about that?

I am looking for my grandfather, his name is Santos S. Olivarez, born in 1913 and died June 1977.
