Why aren’t the grounds kept up? Grass needs to be planted so there is a carpet of lawn throughout the cemetery. I regret that my parents are buried there because of the lack of beauty surrounding this cemetery. – Maureen M.

I agree. For many years, St Ann's cemetery had grounds keepers who tended the gravesites, mowing grass, removing dead flowers and silk flowers in planters after the holiday was long over. I was so upset to view my parents 6 plot site a few days ago -it was all dirt and muddy with rain. This is unacceptable - the plots coast more than the highest price real estate on the East Side of NYC. Please start putting the beauty back into the cemetery.
