I am an Air Force Veteran and I have a terminal illness and will pass within the next two years or so. I would like to start taking care of my funeral expenses now. I would like a plot at the National Cemetery in Montevallo, Al. Can you help my plan by giving me a cost of the the services. – James S.

There is no cost at National Cemeteries. National Cemeteries provide the plot, opening/closing, vault/liner, headstone/marker, and care of the site. Please contact the cemetery directly for further information.

Merry Jane — My father was laid to rest here on November 3, 2022. I was worried because it’s so far from my home. While attending his burial I realized that it was a nice final resting place for him and that he deserves to be honored in this way. RIP Henry L Hinkle🫡

Clay Maddox — Memorial Day visit. Employees very helpful. Grounds clean and well kept. Finding a friend or acquaintance easy with the locator at the office.

T “Lady T” CL — Although, our visit here was for a sad occasion, the peacefulness and welcoming atmosphere made the burial more bearable. The place is very well maintained. I think it is such a blessing to see the effort put forth to ensure our men and women who served have an impeccable place of final rest.
