Zuko's obituary
Zuko Clubb, 11, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 18, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Affectionately known as “Zuko Bunny” to his family, Zuko lived a full, free-roaming life with his mother, Sandy Clubb (née Lo Grasso), and his father, Steven Clubb. He loved being an only child, greeting anyone who entered his domain with curiosity and happily welcoming pets.
Though travel was never his favorite thing, Zuko was well-traveled. He was born in Tennessee, where he had a rough start before being rescued and then adopted by his mother. From Tennessee, they moved to Long Island, New York, then to Astoria, with visits to Georgia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, before settling in Jacksonville—his final home, where he was happy to welcome a father into his family when Sandy met Steven.
Zuko loved investigating everything around him and making his opinions known, whether he approved or disapproved of where things belonged. He was a master of “bunstruction,” with a special appreciation for boxes of all shapes and sizes, which he chewed, played in, slept in, and claimed as his own.
He especially enjoyed early morning and late night digging adventures with blankets. Mornings were always his favorite time of day—playing games before settling down for breakfast and plenty of head pets from his parents.
Zuko was deeply loved by all who knew him, as well as by those who watched him grow up on social media. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved stuffy, Frenchy, who is receiving lots of hugs as Zuko’s parents grieve this tremendous loss.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Zuko’s memory. Contributions will be added to the funds Sandy has already raised through Bunny Love, a children’s book told from Zuko’s perspective that was created to raise awareness about rabbit care. Proceeds will benefit Nashville Bunny Rescue, the rescue that saved Zuko.
