Zesty's obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of a remarkable man better known as Zesty "Caleb Zeller" Z, who departed this world on October 15, 2023. Born on January 25, 1814, Zesty lived an eventful and fruitful life, embodying a joyful presence, elegance, gentleness, and quiet strength. His whimsical character and bubbly personality will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Eva Stein and Riley Brown; his current husband, Ben Tucker; his ex-husband, Jayden Peter and his ex-wife, Anna Eslinger. Zesty's legacy continues with his son, Tyson Danford, and his Aunt, Makinzie Wehrer. A Celebration of Life for Zesty will be held on October 16, 2023, at 12:46 AM at Twin Silo Park.
Zesty embraced knowledge, having graduated from middle school on June 15, 1876. He was a dedicated and valuable member of the workforce, having started a job at Chick-fil-A on March 15, 2019. He was a firm believer in community, regularly attending Ben Hill United Methodist Church, and contributing to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as a Board member.
Zesty's love for life was reflected in his various hobbies and interests. He was a fan of the spicy deluxe sandwich from Chick-Fil-A, sipping Dr.Pepper, and was an avid reader, with Frankenstein, Pride and Prejudice, and Fifty Shades of Grey being among his favorite books. He enjoyed music by Skillet, watching TV shows like New Girl, movies such as John Wick, and had an appreciation for art, with 'Nice Descending a Staircase' being one of his favorites. His favorite sports team was Ben's, and he enjoyed playing Twisted. Zesty liked to watch CFA Pathways Videos, had a passion for judging trainers, appreciated Pilates, and loved the Little people big world pumpkin patch as a vacation spot. He held a special place for Ben’s Garage among his favorite local spots and cared deeply for the Elderly BJJ Society.

Remember him for his elegance, his beige color preference, and his unique sayings – "You’re doing it wrong, wash your hands, don’t touch the inside of the lid."
Zesty lived a life that echoed with his greatest accomplishments, among which terrifying children was notably mentioned. He leaves behind a legacy of direct statements that go straight to one's soul. Rest in peace, Zesty. You were a real one. Go find the Great Pumpkin.
