Ancevicius, Zenonas, 93, of Burlington, Ontario, passed away on August, 14th, 2021 after a short battle with pneumonia and congestive heart failure. Zen was born on July 4th, 1928 to Vaitiekus Ancevicius and Ona Nemajunas in Lithuania. Zen moved to Canada at 18 years old and, 2 years later, married the love of his life Valda O. (Wanda) Kuschnerait. They went on to have 2 children, Rita R. and Anthony Z. (Cheryl) Ancevicius. Zen retired from the Ford Motor Company, where he worked for many years, and spent his time playing and listening to music, fishing, watching old Westerns or Boxing matches on TV, tinkering around his lovely home and entertaining family. He also had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs. Zen's favorite pastime was having a meal with his family gathered around. He was a beautiful accordion and piano player and would often play in bands when he was young. He had a love for all music but his favorites were Polka, Big Band and Jazz. Zen was predeceased by his wife of 75 years, Wanda, his parents and his best friend and fishing partner Ross Dunbar. He is survived by both his daughter and son, granddaughters, Trinity K. Nelson and Vanessa R. Ancevicius and 2 great grandchildren, Travis Jay Nelson and Charleigh Ancevicius-Calderbank. Zen was a loving, supportive and generous husband, dad and grandpa. He is dearly missed.
