Zaid's obituary

Mrs. Zaid Haile Neguse was born around 1935 in Eritrea, in a village called Geza Gobo. She attended part of elementary school in the nearby city known as Sheka Wedi Bisrat. Due to family obligations, Mrs. Zaid moved to Asmara in her early teens and worked in a textile factory, where she became a supervisor.

In 1972, she married Mr. Tsigeyohannes Fkadu. They enjoyed a happy marriage until her passing on September 1, 2024.

Zaid and Tsigeyohannes had three children of their own but raised four children. Their children include Saba Tsigeyohannes, Aster Tsigeyohannes, Essay Tsigeyohannes, and Senait Tsigeyohannes.

In 1986, Mrs. Zaid became one of Jehovah's Witnesses and remained faithful until her death.

In December 2023, Mrs. Zaid was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She passed away on September 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Zaid was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother; she was a nurturer, provider, helper, and a guiding light not only for her family but for those in need as well. Her absence will deeply affect all who knew her.

The family greatly appreciates your prayers and condolences during this difficult time. May God, the God of all comforts, bring comfort to us all!
