Zahraa's obituary
Zahraa "Zuzu" Alsaabiri, passed away on December 6, 2025, born on August 8, 1997. Zahraa, fondly known as Zuzu, was a person of many passions and interests, but first and foremost, she was a loving and compassionate family member and friend. She is survived by her mother, Layla Langenbrunner, and her spouse, Kristopher Macon.
Zahraa was a lover of food and culture; her favorites being Asian cuisine, particularly sushi. She had an affinity for Ramune drink. Her interests extended to the arts, particularly music. The South Korean pop group BTS was among her favorites. Zahraa also took great interest in television and cinema, Supernatural being one of her favorite TV shows, while her favorite movies were predominantly from Disney, with top picks being The Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, and Moana. She also loved to watch performances of The Lion King and Disney movies.
An ardent traveler, Zahraa found beauty and wonder in the diverse landscapes of Iran, one of her favorite spots in the world. Her love for others extended beyond those in her immediate circle. She was passionate about several causes, notably pro-Palestine advocacy.
Zahraa's personality was vibrant and dynamic. She was loving, caring, empathetic, cheerful, loud, and funny. Her mantra was never to give up, no matter how hard the circumstances, a lesson she shared generously. Her perseverance shone through when she graduated college, one of her greatest achievements.
Zahraa leaves behind a legacy of kindness and perseverance to never give up. Her spirit, her love for life, and her commitment to being there for others will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
