Zackary's obituary

Heaven became Zackary D Thompsons eternal home on April 17, 2023.

Born in Napa, Ca. on July 23, 1989 to Scott Thompson and on February 29, 1992 Stephanie Thompson was honored to become Zack's "Step-hie" Mom!

Zack is survived by his beautiful daughter Shiloh, Nana and Gramps, Don & LInda Thompson, brother Jacob Thompson, sisters: Chelsea, Sydney and Lyneke Thompson, cousin Devin Stout, Aunt Kim Thompson, Uncle Jack Stout, nephews: Nick and Vinnie Thompson, niece, Mylah Thompson, and many extended family members and life-long loyal friends.

Zack was an aspiring personal trainer working towards certification through the American Council on Exercise. Zack was a natural and gifted artist.  One of Zack’s famous pieces was “The Rose''.  Zack and his brother had their own unique language that only the two of them understood. They would call each other “‘beeter” and then start cracking up at one another. Zack loved his family with all his heart. He would always ask how his sisters were doing, what they were up to, and how proud he was of them. Zack would light up when he spoke about his daughter, Shiloh.  Zack would talk for hours about the things Shiloh was doing, how smart she was, funny and talented. Shiloh was the light of his life! Zack enjoyed cooking, drawing, working out, camping and in his youth playing roller and ice hockey. In Zack's words “There have been some hurdles in my life, some small some big, there is also more to come because that’s just how it is. What helps me get over them is knowing that just because I can’t see God, doesn’t mean he’s no where to be found. He lives in me! There have been times I prayed for strength, and indeed I felt weak, but when I look back I’ve come to an honest understanding that God is the only one who could have possibly got me through the trials and tribulations I’ve encountered in my life.”

Zack, you're free now and God is embracing you. Fly with the Angels!

The family is requesting that you Celebrate Zack on July 23, 2023 by taking time out on that day to do what makes you feel the most connected to Zack.
