Zachery's obituary
Zachery Daniel Carbo, 18, passed away tragically on February 14, 2026. Though his time on earth was far too short, Zachery’s life was marked by a bright spirit, love for his family, and a personality that could light up any room. Zachery was a sweet, kind, and fun-loving young man whose goofy sense of humor brought laughter and energy wherever he went. He was charismatic, hard-headed, and fearless, with a presence that drew people in. Beneath his tough exterior was a tender and caring heart. He was especially devoted to his brothers and sisters, whom he loved deeply. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games and had a lifelong fascination with cars. As a child, one of his favorite movies was Speed Racer, reflecting the excitement and wonder he carried with him. Zachery was clever and intuitive, often writing his own raps and recording songs that expressed his thoughts and creativity in his own voice.
Zachery faced challenges in his young life, yet those who knew him best understood his resilience, loyalty, and capacity for forgiveness. His presence left a lasting impression, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who loved him. He is survived by his mother, Danielle (Carbo) Satpathy; his grandmother, Dolores Carbo; his older sister, Grace; and his younger siblings, Christian, Blaze, Lilly, and Ajay. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel Carbo.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 26, at 10:00 AM at Visitation BVM Church, Trooper Road. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Zachery’s life and share in remembrance.
