Every dude has that one friend who, when they’re together, their collective brain cells decide to disappear because they’re having such a good time together. Zac was that friend to me, one of the best friends I had senior year. The world’s missing something now that he’s gone, a light that went out entirely too soon. I miss ya man
I went to high school and junior high with Zac, we were in band together all those years, including jazz band in 9th grade. I can’t say I was ever super close friends with him, but we did share a lot of mutual friends, so we often ended up at the same events and parties. The thing I remember the most about him was his quick wit and sense of humor, and an incredible talent for playing the trumpet. I remember the last time I saw him was last summer at our friend Andrew’s party. We had lit a bonfire and spent quite a while talking and sharing memories with friends. I was told by our friends about his passing, and he has been in my thoughts since. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.
