Zachary's obituary

We regretfully announce the passing of Zachary Matthew Ward, age 28 of Kansas City, MO. Zachary passed away tragically on December 24, 2021, in a car accident.

Zachary (Matt) was born to William Donald Morgan and Kimberly Sue Ragland on May 20, 1993 in Lee's Summit, MO.  He had an independent and vibrant personality from the beginning, Zachary grew up to be a very strong and caring young man. Matt and Alexandria were married on July 25, 2020.

Matt loved his career at BC hardscape, and was very proud of the walls he built.

Besides spending time with his family and friends matt enjoyed playing pool, chess, and spades. Matt loved helping family and friends with home improvement projects , going fishing, and learning everything he could about anything, but most of all space and the universe. Matt always wanted to be working on a project of some kind. he was never more happy then when he was tinkering with a new tool or project. 

Matt  was an energetic, vibrant, and extremely generous man. He touched many lives and always tried to make sure everyone around him felt included.   

Matt is survived by his wife and many loving family members and friends.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life and memorial service for Zachary Mathew Ward on Thursday December 30, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Holiday Inn 4101 N Corrington Ave, Kansas City, MO 64117
