Zachary Earl Hawthorne, 32, of Midway, Arkansas passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, in Midway. He was born on February 8, 1991, to Davey and Cindy (Benson) Hawthorne in Monroe, Louisiana. Zach loved spending time with his daughter, Chessa, hanging out with friends and family, riding his motorcycle, and kayak fishing in the White River. He graduated from MHHS in 2009 where he spent time playing many school sports with football being his favorite. His football career encompassed the 2006 State Championship game, All-Conference and All-State awards, and playing in the 2008/9 State All-Star game.

Zach is survived by his daughter, Chessa Lynn Hawthorne; his parents, Davey and Cindy Hawthorne; two sisters, Kayla Eaton (Paul) and Kim DeMass (Sam); four nieces and nephews, Lola and Jude Eaton and James and Emma DeMass; his partner Samantha Giboney and her daughter, Laiken Callaway; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including his aunt, Angie (Benson) Gray.

Arrangements are by Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center. The family will be receiving friends from 3 – 4 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday, November 13, 2023.
