Yv - an Irish beauty in soul, mind and body! Many a good time on the photo set and around the dinner table!Love and deepest condolences to Grady and all the family. Jason

I loved Yvonne! She was a true blessing.  One who was truly fierce in her faith.  She was devoted, bold and honest.  And I absolutely loved her entire wardrobe!  She made an impact on me for sure. Though we wanted more time with her, we will always remember the joy she expressed no matter what she was going through.  We look forward to seeing that joy once again as we reunite in Heaven.  In the meantime,  I know she would want us to continue her legacy by being that fierce warrior for Christ!

Thankful for Yvonne’s life. She always invested in the Gospel and people. She was a no nonsense person who would not always tell you what you wanted to hear but what you needed to hear. She was strong, funny and stylish. Fred and I always enjoyed sharing meals and a time of worship with her and Grady. She is in glory and probably putting some final decorating touches to the throne room! Hahaha

Mission Trip — with Yvonne & Grady O'Brien

Our team had the joy of meeting Yvonne O'Brien and her husband Grady O'Brien in April 2023. They led the first Charis missions' team that we were honored to host in Mexico. It was an incredible trip we still talk about today.

After just a few interactions, we immediately fell in love with Grady and Yvonne's hearts for people and their passion for sharing the Gospel. We witnessed their dedication to the Kingdom and their eagerness to serve. Our entire NA team echoes how quickly they became like family. During that amazing week of ministering together, Yvonne’s life impacted us with her joy and laughter, kindness, compassion, and bold faith.

Over the years, as we got to know her and her family, we saw their selfless dedication to go wherever God called them and do whatever He asked. Yvonne lived a life of fellowship with God, evident to anyone who spent time with her. She made you feel important and special simply by being around her. She demonstrated excellence in all she did—in her ministry O'Brien Ministries, her home, and in the time, she spent with family and others.

The impact she made during that mission trip was only a glimpse of the incredible influence she had over the years with countless others who had the privilege to know her. Her life was devoted to missions. Her heart was set on the Kingdom. Her faith was unwavering.

Yvonne’s life was a testament to the power of living a life full of God's purpose, and her memory remains a gift to all of us who were touched by her life. I believe countless people are and will be in heaven enjoying fellowship with Jesus because she shared the good news with them.

Although our hearts are temporarily saddened, we look toward the day we get to see her in our eternal heavenly home.

Life with Jesus truly has no end. Yvonne is now experiencing the fullness of life in God's love and the arms of Jesus with a glorified body and joy like no other.

We pray for the O'Brien family and our dear friend Grady during this time as the Holy Spirit is with them bringing comfort with His great love and peace.

With great love,

Jacob and Bianca, and the Nations Arise team. ❤️

Yvonne has made a lasting impact on our lives. We first met her at the Charis Healing Is Here conference, and she immediately welcomed us into her friendship. She took the time to get to know us, prayed for us, and simply loved on us. We will always be grateful for her, and we will always love her.

Dear Grady, Liam, Rory, Masie, Adian,

Mark, Sasha, and I, are so sorry to hear the news of Yvonne's passing. We thank God that He wraps His everlasting arms around each one of you in this foreign journey with grief.  All of our love and prayers.

Nathan and I are sad to hear the news of Yvonne’s passing. We were blessed to have worked with her and Grady in Charlotte and they were great friends.

She will be missed. We are praying you all the family

October 1993 I had the privilege of spending several nights in Grady and Yvonne’s home in Dallas while awaiting the birth of Liam. It was the only “catered” birth I ever attended with food beautifully and lovingly provided by Murphy O’Brien (then a chef at Coyote Cafe in Santa Fe). As labor progressed (or not!) we noticed that when a visitor came in the room, Yvonne’s labor would slow as she chatted. We midwives made the decision to curtail visitations long enough to get Liam born. It was such a beautiful time of celebration. Lovely family and joyful memories.
