Yung-Woo (Rex) Lee, 74, of Vaughan, passed away on March 3rd, 2022 at 9:43 AM after a battle with small cell lung cancer and pneumonia. Rex was born in 1948 in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do in the Republic of Korea. Many years ago, he met his wife Yong-Yim Lee, and they wed in 1976, going on to have 3 children: Randy, Chantal, and Joyce.


Rex was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Randy, Chantal, Joyce and his wife Yong and always tried his best to support them. Rex was also a passionate golfer, bowler, and could often be found at his convenience store when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Rex knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.


The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 70 Roseheath Drive in Vaughan, ON L6A 2B6 if you are not able to attend the visitation and funeral service. There will be a visitation from 10:00am-11:00am and funeral service from 11:00am to 12:00pm on March 11th, 2022 at Glen Oaks Funeral Home 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H 7A8.

렉스는 가족을 부양하고 항상 가족을 위해 희생하셧습니다.  그의 가족은 그에게 세상 그 무엇보다 의미가 있었고, 그가 자주 언급하며 항상 본인보다 가족을 걱정하는 인생을 사셧습니다.  그는 Randy, Chantal, Joyce 및 그의 아내 Yong을 끝없이 자랑스러워했으며 항상 최선을 다해 그들을 지원했습니다.  Rex는 또한 열정적인 골퍼이자 볼러였으며 집에 없을 때 편의점을 운영하셧습니다.

렉스를 아는 사람은 사랑스러운 아버지이자 남편이자 자랑스러운 할아버지라는 것을 알고 있습니다.  유족으로는 아내, 자녀, 손주들이 있습니다.
