Yu Su Embry, 77, passed away on November 3, 2019 at home on hospice from cancer.

She was born in South Korea, one of 13 children, to Chong and Sun Kim. She is survived by her children Rhonda Norris and Reginald Embry; and her grandchildren, Brook (Dan) Stivers, Quinton Norris, Kobe Embry, Zachary Embry, and Andrew Embry. Her beloved bird Yellow will be taken care of by her only granddaughter.

Yu Su married Ronald Embry while in Korea in 1971 and came to the U.SA. as a military wife where she later became a naturalized citizen. She made her home in Louisville, Kentucky after having lived several years in Texas. She made an impression on everyone she met and will not easily be missed.

Her celebration of life will be held on November 16, 2019 at the clubhouse of The Pines condo where she lived. People are welcome to drop in at any time between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to share their memories with all who loved her.
