Young Ja Jeong, a person of remarkable diligence, sincerity, and responsibility, passed away on July 21, 2024. Born on August 16, 1945, in Daejeon, South Korea, Young embodied a warm, caring, intelligent, and family-oriented spirit throughout her life. She placed family at the heart of everything she did, leading by example in demonstrating the importance of love and care for one's family.
Young's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family and her four grandsons. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. Her greatest achievement was the loving and conscientious upbringing of her son and daughter and the immense care she took in nurturing her four grandsons. The love and devotion she showed towards her family will be remembered and cherished for generations.
Young was an amazing cook, whose culinary skills brought joy and comfort to her family and friends. Her dishes were more than just meals; they were an expression of her love and care for those she held dear. Her kitchen was always filled with the delightful aromas of traditional Korean cuisine and her meals were a testament to her creativity, dedication, and the warmth she extended to everyone around her.
Young is survived by her son, Jun Choe; her daughter, Yun Choi; her daughter-in-law, Junia Choe; her son-in-law, Hyungjin Choi; and her grandsons, Ethan InHa Choe, Colin JaeHa Choe, Newton SeoHa Choe, and Daniel Yule Choi. The life she lived and the love she shared will forever be remembered in their hearts. Young's legacy of diligence, sincerity, responsibility, and love of family will continue to shape their lives.
In her passing, we honor a life well-lived, remembering Young as a beacon of love, responsibility, and family unity. Her memory will serve as a guiding light for future generations, nurturing the values she held dear.
