Ying Her at 102 years old passed away on February 17, 2021.

Ying was born on February 13, 1919 to Song Yee Kong, her father, and Mai Yang, her mother, in Laos.

In 1944, Ying and Yong Ge Yang married and had 12 children: Pang Yang, Dua Yang, Song Yang, Chong Tou Yang, Cha Yang, Yee Yang, Phua Yang, Chong Yang, Pai Yang, Bong Yang, Long Yang, Ger Yang. Due to the Vietnam War, in 1979, Ying and Yong Ge moved to Thailand with Chong Tou, Xoua Vang, Vang Yang, Kacie Pa Yang, Cha Yang, and Chong Yang and lived in the refugee camp.
A year later in 1980, Ying's family moved to the United States and lived in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Ying was predeceased by Yong Ge Yang, Dua Yang, Song Yang, Yee Vang, Phua Yang, Pai Yang, Bong Yang, Long Yang, Ger Yang, and Cha Yang. Ying is survived by Pang Yang, Tou Vang, Chong Tou Yang, Xoua Vang, Vang Yang, Bee Xiong, Kylie PaYing Yang, Kacie Pa Yang, Judy Yang, Ta Mike Lee, Jelani Lee, Jacobi Lee, Treyson Lee, Tasanee Lee, Sam Yang, Soua Khang, Nathaniel Tswj Koob Yang, Madilyn Nkauj Zoo Yang, Peter Yang, Ntsuab Vang, Makayla Yang, Hayley Yang, True Vang, Chris Yang, Maychee Vang, Skyler Yang, Harper Yang, Grace Yang, Ali Yang, Jean Vang, Lou Moua, Suki Moua, Natalie Moua, Nhia Moua, Chong Yang, Mayly Yang, Yusheng Yang, Hashi Yang, Melody Yang.

There will be a tradition Hmong funeral on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm at Legacy Funeral Home Maplewood, 1310 Frost Avenue, Maplewood, MN, 55109.
